WHAT'S GOING ON WITH CHIP....

02.24.10 Wow...the London care Benefit for a Haitian orphanage was a huge success. Organized by my long time friend Glen Gamble we collectively raised over $5,000.00 which will be going directly to the orphanage...GREAT JOB ARCH!!!! the Bands were awesome and I was so happy to touch base with musician friends I hadn't seen in some time. below are some pics from the show.

02.19.10 Gearing up for my gig with my band mates in SYRE at The Hardball Cafe in Milton Ontario tomorrow night and it is looking like it will be a full house! The following night SYRE will also be perforing at the London care Concer for Haiti at Norma Jeans in London Ontario. We will be performing with some of the best indie and tribute acts from Southern Ontario to raise money for a Haitian orphange hit especially hard by the recent devastation. Our set is at 10:30pm but get there early as it WILL be a packed house!!!

02.06.10 The Chip Gall Band is on the hunt for a reputable agent / manager to represent the band. I have put the feelers out there with several of the large agency's however it's easy to get lost in the shuffle with those agency's because they represent so many artists. Worked on a new song today called Nickels & Dimes...bit of a tongue in cheek tune about the internet music scene and all it's artificial hype...stay tuned for that one!

01.31.10 had a great time at the Helix show last night...and it was great to catch up with my old bud Kenny Heague....the boys were awesome as always!! I picked up their new CD "Vagabond Bones" and the boys continue to show the rest of us how it should be done. Straight up rock songs delivered with full impact. I'm hoping I can open for Helix in the near future...that would be way too much fun!!

01.30.10 Heading out tonight to see my old friends Helix rock out at Norma Jeans in London. This is gonna be a great show as Helix Guitarist Brent Doerner is going to play the late Paul Hackman's guitar for a couple of tunes. I'm sure there won't be a dry eye in the house including mine. I also get a chance to catch up with some old friends and witness the wicked 63 Monroe open the show. Steven R Stunning is another old friend who helped me out when I was a struggling musician in London. Hope to see everyone out tonight and support two long time Canadian rock artists!!
